Fraps is a very popular video game recorder. It is quite easy to configure and use, but it can only record video games for the most part. The video files are very high quality and can take up quite a lot of Hard-Drive space, so make sure you have plenty of space before using. Fraps also will break up the recording into multiple parts once they reach a maximum size. You will need to use your preferred video editor in order to merge them.
